At Holy Family we aim to create and maintain an environment in which all children are enabled to develop academically, socially, emotionally and personally.
The Department for Education has allocated schools additional funding called the Pupil Premium to help us to offer personalised support to our children.
In the financial year 2013/2014 Holy Family will receive £52,200.00
The Pupil Premium allocation for the year 2013/2014 will be spent on:
One to one tuition;
Staffing costs to monitor progress and attainment for FSM children;
Providing access to extra-curricular activities to support learning;
Training for staff on new numeracy initiatives
Leadership training for staff
Purchase of new ipads and laptops.
As with all children at Holy Family, attainment and progress is monitored to ensure that all children make good progress.
The impact of the work done with our FSM children was that in both KS1 and KS2, FSM children made significantly more progress in Maths and English than the previous academic year.
Future impact of the pupil premium will be published on the Department for Education website
